Back-country skiing & snowshoe walks

Many hiking routes can also be covered with snowshoes, back-country skis and descents by sledge.
For every hiking trip we recommend that you take good, waterproof mountain / hiking boots and clothing, a light rucksack, provisions and good maps.
Anyone going back-country skiing or visiting areas where there is a risk of avalanche, should take an avalanche transceiver with them (available in every sports shop) and notify hotel reception of their plans.
